The Red Zebra in Swan Hill
It was April, in 1996, when McNicol Williams Management & Marketing Services began working on the 'StreetLIFE' program for Swan Hill Rural City Council. Principal Consultant, Max Williams, has always loved the river, and specifically targeted that Swan Hill project.
Within a few months, an office presence at 60 Campbell Street provided the foundation for working with a number of local businesses. The emphasis on small and medium business provided by its 'Red Zebra' program was a perfect match for the needs of many Swan Hill enterprises.
Later, in 2002, The Red Zebra program was provided for 12 months to 15 local businesses using federal funding provided through the Area Consultative Committee, and under the sponsorship of Swan Hill Incorporated.
Today, although the office is no more, The Red Zebra program is delivered to small and medium businesses in the region, using its three key strengths - commercial management, marketing management, and human resources development.
